Thief's Log Chapter 31 & 32

Hey guy's,

Ara here.

Chapter 31 of Thief's Log is out this week. As usual that means that chapter 32 is available for my Patreon and Buy Me a Coffee subscribers.

You can subscribe to read this and other chapters (including subscriber only chapters of Thief's Log and ANGEL) for as little as $2. All proceeds help me to expand the site.

There is also a new poem this week.

So I've created a new poems page, with two poems that are from my other works.

Axel's Song is from the first book of Neweth.

Will'o the Wisp is from Ghost.

I've also added this, my newest poem:

Absolution

The things that I’ve done

Fade with the setting sun

I dissolve, like the spray of a wave

This earth becomes my grave

Shattered down to my core

Nothing matters anymore.

Will I be remembered?

Who is to know?

Memories play like a slideshow

Joy, sorrow, pride, anguish

I feel myself begin to languish

It all may have mattered then

But now that I look once again

Did I do anything of worth?

What is the aim?

The measure of this game

Perhaps I was wrong

The thoughts I held for so long

But now it matters not

For I’ve competed my lot

Was it for good or ill?

Soon there will be nothing left

So strange that I don’t feel bereft

Without a care I find peace

No regrets, even knowing I will cease

Some one else will carry on

The things that’re now bygone

I am okay with this

I forgive myself

I relinquish my existence itself

It’s so gentle

To become something transcendental

It’s natural but also not so

For what I had I must forgo

We must all become nothing

To start again...

That's all for this week.

The release may be a bit delayed next week, as I have a lot of real life stuff. But I will do my best to churn out a chapter amongst it all.

Chances are it will be another Thief's Log, as the story is flowing quite easily at the moment.

It's actually overflowing, as my chapter count is inflated every time Ara (and I) make a stupid decision.

Anyway, until the next release ta-ta.
