Ghost chapter 12 & 13

Hey guys,

Ara here.

I've got a new chapter of Ghost: A Being of Unimaginable Cold. I know I don't often use the full title, but I like to every now and then.

Chapter 12 is out for today.

This means that chapter 13 is available for my Patreons.

I also have a new poem, I've posted it at the end of my current poem page in The River.

Reminiscent

​I returned again today

These thoughts won’t go away

Just memories and regrets

I’d rather just forget

I wonder why it is

That I feel like this

So cold

Unfeeling but bold

I will no longer bend to expectation

Because it’s exploitation

I can go where I want

This place I will haunt

With or without guilt

Of the memories I’ve built

I come back again

To remind me of back then

Like the scene of a crime

I hate this place and that time

I’m both victim and perpetrator

Both actor and spectator

Every time is the same

Makes me feel such shame

I don’t know what I expected

It’s the same as last I checked it

Memories can’t change their view

And I don’t think of you

I don’t think of you.

It just happens that you were there

I don’t care

I’ll take my responsibility

For my duplicity

But I won’t forgive yours

It’s seared into my mind

In the memory that I find

Always the same

You and I share the blame

Of that day

No matter what they say

So I don’t think of you

But my mind rings true

You were there

And I swear

I wouldn’t think of you otherwise

That's about it from me.

I plan to get the final chapter edits of High & Low completed this week, then next week I'll be back up to a chapter of Thief's Log. Hopefully it will all go to plan.
